Intern

Student interns help with a variety of staffing positions in the following areas:

  • Office work
  • Multi-media design
  • Social network communications
  • Event support staff
  • Awareness Presentation support
  • Outreach teams
  • Research
  • Procedure development
  • Community assessment
  • Client assistance (as qualified)
  • Shelter assistance (as qualified)
  • Case management / social works

Students are required to fulfill the requirements established by their professor during the intern program time with OATH.

We accept students as interns on a first come first serve basis. Send the following information to be considered:

1. A Cover Letter: State your goals for an internship position with OATH and specifically answer the following questions:

  • Name, age, contact information, field of study, school attending, professor or academic person referring you and their contact information.
  • What is your background and knowledge of trafficking, forced prostitution, or sexual violence?
  • How would working with OATH assist you in the advancement of your professional career or personal development?
  • What relevant skills do you have? (Please note if you have computer skills, research or analysis, database management, organizational, foreign language, social work or case management skills.)

2. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)

3. Recommendation letter: Please include one professional or academic recommendation letter and the contact information of your reference.
